Description
Through two impactful steps, treat the concerns from prolonged exposure to the sun, the effects of pregnancy or the natural aging process. By removing the damaged layers of skin, collagen and elastin fibers, the growth of new, healthy skin is encouraged.
This clinical skin resurfacing treatment will give the best long-terms results to clients who take steps to promote healing during the first week after the treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure, sweating, swimming and facial products for the first 48 hours. Usual skincare and cosmetic regimens should be paused for the first five days.
If an itchy or hot feeling is experienced, wash face with cool water, apply cool compresses and cortisone cream.
Over the first four days following the treatment, regularly pat the face with a damp washcloth and apply a light facial moisturizer to promote natural peeling. Then apply sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher for protection. Only powder makeup is recommended to allow for a better peeling process.
For best results, we recommend following up with a HydraFacial one week after.
