Description
How is the VI Peel different from other peels?
Unlike other peels, this procedure is painless yet produces dramatic and visible results in just days. There is also little downtime which means you can show off your newly refreshed skin almost immediately.
How many treatments are required to show an improved look?
A single VI Peel will significantly repair your skin while giving you a healthy glow. It is a true restorative and painless repair of damaged skin, including sun damage and acne. The VI Peel is also a great “preventive maintenance” peel for younger skin that may have no visible signs of damage. It’s never too early to make your skin a priority!
How much will I peel?
The skin peeling associated with the VI Peel is a light, fluffy peel that will start on day three and is usually finished by the end of day four. The peeling is easily hidden with moisturizer. In some cases, the peel is virtually invisible.
What will I look like right after the VI Peel and during the next few days?
Your skin will look slightly tan to red immediately after the VI peel. On days one and two, your skin will feel slightly tighter with no visible signs of having a peel aside from looking slightly tan, as if you’ve just returned from a relaxing weekend at a resort. Any pigmented areas might appear slightly darker, which is a good sign. Around day three, you will begin to peel. The first signs of peeling usually start around the mouth area and continue for a day or two. By day six or seven the patient is done peeling and the results are dramatic!
Can I go in the sun after the VI Peel?
Your sun exposure should be limited and coupled with the use of good a sunscreen for adequate sun protection. The only days where exposure to the sun should be seriously avoided are days three and four, when the skin is peeling, to avoid uneven exposure.
All results vary by patient*.
